My story
What a sweet boy and deserves a loving home!Johnny Cash came to WCAS with a dislocated left hip and had surgery on 12/26/19 to repair it. As his leg continues to heal and muscles heal around his surgical site, Johnny Cash will develop a false hip joint that will allow him to use his leg normally. He may continue to have a limp for the remainder of his life, however he should be relatively comfortable once the surgical site has healed. He may take up to 6-8 weeks to fully heal, so care should be taken when handling his left hind limb during that time. At this time he is happy and comfortable. Adopters may want to talk with their veterinarian before deciding whether this cat is a good fit for them. Thanks to the WCAS Auxiliary for sponsoring part of his adoption fee and an anonymous donor, you can adopt Johnny Cash for $11.
